Snow Closings for February 12, 2019
The Spinnaker Point Recreation Center and the Portsmouth Indoor Pool will be closing at 5:00pm on February 12, 2019. Please call tomorrow morning to find out when they will be opening. The Connie Bean Recreation Center will not open after school and will remain closed until the afternoon of February 13.

Opportunities for winter community participation
While crews are consistently on the streets managing winter cleanup operations, the City has over 3,000 catch basins and almost 2,000 hydrants that require regular maintenance. Very quickly leaves, snow, debris, and litter can block catch basins and stop rainwater from properly draining, and quick temperature drops and snowfall can leave a hydrant buried in frozen snow.
