 The City of Portsmouth provides the E-Alert notification system as a courtesy service to keep residents informed about meetings of City Boards, Commissions, and Committees. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Informational Use Only 
    E-Alerts are provided for convenience and public awareness. They do not replace or supersede any legally required public notices under New Hampshire law, including RSA 91-A (Right-to-Know Law). Official postings of meeting agendas, materials, and notices remain the legal record of the City of Portsmouth.
  2. No Guarantee of Delivery 
    While the City endeavors to provide timely and accurate notifications, it does not guarantee receipt of any alert. Delivery may be delayed or prevented by technical issues, user account settings, third-party service providers, or other circumstances beyond the City’s control.
  3. User Responsibility 
    Subscribers are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and communication preferences. The City is not liable for missed notices due to incorrect information provided by the user.
  4. Limitation of Liability

    The collection and use of subscriber information is conducted in accordance with applicable federal and State of New Hampshire laws. Public records requests will be handled pursuant to RSA 91-A.
