Labor Day Holiday & Election Day Service Impacts 2026
Labor Day
In observance of Labor Day the following services will be impacted:
City Hall: Closed - Friday, September 4 and Monday, September 7. The Clerk’s Office will be open Monday, September 7 from 3 - 5 pm for any last-minute Absentee Ballot requests and returns.
Library: Closed - Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7
Recreation: All buildings closed: Monday, September 7
No Vital Records for Election Day
Due to the State Primary Election, the Clerk's Office will be closed to regular business on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

New Trash and Recycling Holiday Schedule
Transfer Station Hours:
Tues-Thurs 7:45 am - 3:15 pm and
Saturday 8 am-2 pm
New Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule
Weekday holidays will follow normal weekly trash pickup schedules.
For example: Residential Areas with Monday trash pickup will still put their trash out on Labor Day, Monday September 7, 2026
For Downtown - If the Holiday falls on a Monday, Downtown trash and recycling will be collected on Tuesday
