To celebrate Bike Month, Mayor Jack Blalock will lead a bicycle ride beginning at City Hall at noon on Wednesday, May 8th. The public is encouraged to join him, City officials and staff for a bicycle tour of recent and planned bicycle and pedestrian improvements.

Preconstruction meeting for the Islington Street Reconstruction Project Thursday, April 25th
The preconstruction meeting for the Islington Street Reconstruction Project is on Thursday, April 25th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Levenson Room at the Portsmouth Public Library. All members of the public are invited to attend. City staff, along with the contractor, Severino Trucking, will be in attendance to discuss the project, the schedule, traffic control, and impacts during the project. Work on the project is expected to commence the first week in May.
