Programs cancelled for morning of Feb 4th
Due to the forecast for tomorrow, all morning recreation programs at the Portsmouth Indoor Pool and Senior Activity Center have been cancelled for Friday, February 4. This includes AquaZumba and swim lessons at the pool, and Tai Chi, Dull Men's Club and the Friday Movie at the Senior Center. Buildings are expected to remain open. Decisions for afternoon and evening programs will be posted tomorrow.

A Letter from the Director
At the end of February we'll be saying goodbye to our fearless leader, Steve Butzel. His energy, dedication, and humor will be sorely missed, and we're so grateful for his tireless steering of the library ship, especially during the pandemic. Steve is always game to dress up and get silly (whether it’s Sherlock Holmes, Grindelwald, or the Village People!), but he has also kept us all accountable, inspired and motivated, supporting our careers with active mentorship and a whole lot of patience.
We wish him all the best in the next phase of his journey!

January 29, 2022 Snowstorm
All Portsmouth Recreation Facilities will be closed on Saturday, January 29. All programs have also been cancelled. Basketball makeup schedules will be emailed on Monday. Indoor Pool swim lessons will receive a credit on their account.
