Shakespeare Discussion Group: Measure for Measure, Tuesday Jan 30

How now, players? Tis a new year, and a new season of Shakespearean discussion group! Come! Join us, in person, or on Zoom, on the last Tuesday of the month when the bell tolls four to discuss the witty and wily comedy that is Measure for Measure. Fear you not of your knowledge of Shakespeare’s works, for we encourage fellows of all ages, areas of interest and expertise to attend!

On Tuesday, January 30th at 4PM we will discuss Measure for Measure in the Hilton Garden Inn Room of the library as well as over Zoom.

Amy has a chance encounter with Theodore, a childhood crush who proposed to Jo but was ultimately rejected. Their oldest sibling, Meg, is married to a schoolteacher, while shy sister Beth develops a devastating illness that brings the family back together.

A veteran Planner Society presenter, Poleena will be switching things up from our last handwriting presentation to show you how to write even more interesting scripts than before. All you need are a couple of markers, pens, paper, and pencils! Come and have some fun!
