On December 16, the City Council voted to allow free parking at all downtown, on-street parking meters from Tuesday, December 17th through Thursday, December 26th. While parking is free for these 10 days, time limits and any snow parking bans will still be enforced.

In anticipation of the need for plowing city streets as the current snowstorm winds down, a parking ban starts going into effect starting at 8 pm. Parking ban on downtown streets starting at 1 am. Residents are reminded they can park in the Foundry Place Garage for the flat rate of $3 or the High Hanover Garage for the flat rate of $5, starting at 8 pm.

This week's rain following the recent snow evens and cold may produce an early crop of pot-holes, frost heaves and clogged catch basins. Residents can assist by driving with caution and reporting issues to Click n' Fix.
