Clipper Careers
Student career readiness is a key part of Career & Technical Education. The 8 CTE programs at PHS allow students to explore career pathways that lead to further schooling, training or employment. Clipper Careers resources are available to PHS CTE students as they build professionalism and pursue hands-on, applied learning experiences in their pathways.
Welding Program
Introduction to Welding: An introduction is provided to welding, one of the principle means of fabricating metal products. Industry has found that welding is an efficient, dependable and economical means of joining metal in fabricating operations. Students will acquire knowledge of the properties of metals and be able to demonstrate skills in oxy-acetylene welding, flame cutting and arc welding through construction of various joint designs and projects.
Health Sciences
Students interested in pursuing medical career pathways, such as: nursing, physician, dental, EMT, physical therapy, or occupational therapy may earn a CTE completer certificate and other industry recognized credentials (CPR, Stop the Bleed, etc.) as they complete the two-year Health Science Technology program. Students will explore career pathways, participate in real-world trainings, learn medical terminology, and visit a variety of clinical, medical environments as part of this program.
Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts Program is a 2-year program designed to prepare students for a career in the New Hampshire Seacoast’s thriving Restaurant and Hospitality Industry or to continue on to a 2 or 4-year institution to pursue a Culinary Arts, Baking, and Pastry Arts, Food Service Management, or Hospitality Management Degree.

Careers in Education (CIE)
The Little Clipper Preschool is affiliated with the Careers in Education program. We serve up to 18 preschool students per year, ages 28 months (potty trained) to five years.
