Mechanic Street Pumping Station Work

The Department of Public Works will be conducting work at the Mechanic Street Pumping Station on Monday June 22, 2026 to Friday July 3 2026, between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm. An outside contractor will be installing a pump into the pump station building using a crane and other heavy equipment.

Abutters should expect noise from the work as well as disruption to traffic and parking in the area. No parking signs will be posted a couple of days before the work takes place.
