The City of Portsmouth is pleased to announce it is presently engaged with ParkMobile, Inc. to provide residents and visitors with a convenient way to pay for parking through its mobile smartphone application. The City looks forward to providing this convenient payment alternative that will be available to drivers beginning on February 15th.

While crews are consistently on the streets managing winter cleanup operations, the City has over 3,000 catch basins and almost 2,000 hydrants that require regular maintenance. Very quickly leaves, snow, debris, and litter can block catch basins and stop rainwater from properly draining, and quick temperature drops and snowfall can leave a hydrant buried in frozen snow.
