The program is designed to afford students the opportunities for hands-on work experience while learning work related skills within a curriculum designed by employer needs. Students take two courses on Career subjects such as entrepreneurship, communication skills, interviewing, and on industry specific topics such as hospitality and healthcare. Students participate in job shadows and internships to assist them in planning for their future careers

The college transition program integrates a post-secondary college transition plan into our high school curriculum.  The goal is to both identify and address barriers to college transitioning while increasing students' sense of belonging and ability to succeed in the college setting.

Students are enrolled in a variety of science courses including Chemistry, Ecology, Biology and Physics.  Students practice the habits of a scientist while completing hands-on investigations and conducting original research.  Biology and Ecology students are planning, planting and maintaining our raised bed gardens, tapping our maple trees to make maple syrup, ​and designing a classroom aquaponics system.  Physics students are learning about projectile motion by engineering, testing, and re-designing model siege engines.

How old should my child be to register for Kindergarten?

If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2017, they will be eligible to register for the 2017-2018 school year.
