RAWWWRRR! Portsmouth Public Library staff are FEROCIOUS in their devotion to helping you find books, movies, magazines, and other materials you LOVE.
What should you read, watch, or listen to next? We can help you answer this question.
In recognition of Disability Pride Month and the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we have created lists of titles in our collection that feature characters with a range of diverse abilities. People with disabilities, especially people of color with disabilities, are severely underrepresented in literature. These titles are a great start towards raising awareness and empathy for what is often an invisible population.
These book lists make it easy to place holds and save titles to your reading list. Check back here as we add more!
