101 Objects & Meaningful Conversations Celebrate Black History Month (Rescheduled from February 28)

In commemoration of Black History Month, the “A History of Portsmouth NH in 101 Objects” Speaker Series will partner with the Portsmouth Meaningful Conversations group for a unique opportunity to discuss the history of Portsmouth as it relates to Black History. Rescheduled from Tuesday, February 28.

Hygge! Monday March 3

Hygge is a Danish word that means coziness and comfort. When it's this cold and snowy outside, it's good to take care of yourself by spending some time relaxing with a good book, puzzle, or other soothing activity and getting cozy. Why fight it? Take a break from your stresses and drop in for some hygge at the library! We provide coffee, cocoa, tea, cookies, puzzles, coloring sheets, games, and a quiet atmosphere. Join us!
