Cellphone Service Survey

The City of Portsmouth NH’s Cable and Broadband Internet Commission conducted two surveys in 2025 — one to residents and one to businesses — to gather information about their experiences with cellular service in the community. Feedback from the surveys is being used to help the Commission better understand service issues and work with service providers toward potential improvements.

The Building Code Board of Appeals hears and decides appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the building official relative to the application and interpretation of the various city adopted construction codes. RULE 1. MEETING NIGHTS

The regular meetings of the City Council shall be on the first and third Mondays of each month at some time between 7:00 o'clock and 8:30 o'clock in the evening to be set by the Council. Work sessions may commence at any time after 6:00 p.m. and the regular council meeting may commence at any time after 7:00 p.m. (See Charter section 4.4).
