City of Portsmouth, NH DPW Hosts Vaughan Mall Restoration Project Public Meeting on July 22, 2026
July 10, 2026
The City of Portsmouth Department of Public Works is holding a Public Information Meeting to discuss the Vaughan Mall Restoration Project on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 6:30 pm in the Levenson Room of the Portsmouth Public Library, located at 175 Parrott Avenue.
The City of Portsmouth recently completed replacement of the sanitary sewer, stormwater, and water lines under the Vaughan Mall. The City then installed a temporary asphalt surface until the final restoration work can begin. Terrence Parker from Terra Firma Landscape Architecture will provide the final design sketches for the restoration of Vaughan Mall. These plans have been updated based on the public input session last year. The City expects to put the project out to bid this summer with construction to begin in spring 2027.
This is a hybrid meeting held in-person and via Zoom. Members of the public who wish to participate by Zoom must register in advance. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
