  • City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 26, reopening on Tuesday, May 27, from 8 am to 6 pm
  • The Portsmouth Public Library will be closed on Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26
  • The Department of Public Works trash and recycling collection on Monday, May 26 will be combined with collection on Tuesday, May 27. There will be no yard waste collected on either day. The Recycling Center will be open on Saturday, May 24 from 8 am to 2 pm.
  • Recreation facilities Memorial Day Weekend hours are as follows:
    • The Robert P. Sullivan Boat Launch and Prescott Park Marina will be open from dawn to dusk Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26
    • The Senior Activity Center will be open Saturday, May 24 from 9 am - noon for the Drop-in Lounge, and will be closed on Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26
    • Spinnaker Point will be open Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 from 7 am - 4 pm, and will be closed Monday, May 26
    • Connie Bean Center will be closed on Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26
    • Community Campus will host an All-Ages Open Gym on Saturday, May 24 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm, and will be closed Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26
    • The Indoor Pool will be open Saturday May 24 for Lap Swim from 8 am to 11 am and Open Swim from 11:05 am to 2:00 pm, and will be closed Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26
