Memorial Day Holiday Hours 2026

- City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 25, reopening on Tuesday, May 26, from 8 am to 6 pm
- The Portsmouth Public Library will be closed on Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25
- The Department of Public Works trash and recycling collection on Monday, May 25 will be combined with collection on Tuesday, May 26. There will be no yard waste collected on either day. The Recycling Center will be open on Saturday, May 23 from 8 am to 2 pm.
- Recreation facilities Memorial Day Weekend hours are as follows:
- Robert P. Sullivan Boat Launch and Prescott Park Marina will be open from dawn to dusk Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25
- Senior Activity Center will be open Saturday, May 23 from 9 am - noon for the Drop-in Lounge, and Sunday, May 24 for yoga; but will be closed on Monday, May 25
- Spinnaker Point will be open Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 from 7 am - 4 pm, and will be closed Monday, May 25
- Connie Bean Center will be closed on Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25
- Community Campus will be closed Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25. Pickleball Open Gym and Basketball Open Gym will be closed Monday, May 25
- Indoor Pool will be open Saturday May 23 and Sunday, May 24; but will be closed on Monday, May 25
