Thanksgiving 2023 Hours for City Facilities

THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY –

  • City Hall will be closed from Wed Nov 22 at 1 pm through Sun Nov 26, reopening Mon Nov 27 at 8 am.
  • Portsmouth Public Library will be closed from 5 pm Wed Nov 22 through Fri Nov 24, reopening Sat Nov 25.
  • Trash collection: Thurs collection will be combined with Wed on Nov 22.. Recycling Center closed on Thurs Nov 23 (and, as usual, Fri).
  • Recreation Department facilities: All Rec Facilities will close at 5 pm on Wed Nov 22 and will remain closed on Thurs Nov 23 and Fri Nov 24.

For Thanksgiving Weekend:

  • Community Campus Open Gym Sat, Nov 25 from 8am-noon. Free; all ages welcome.
  • Spinnaker Point open regular hours on Sat/Sun 7am-4pm
  • Indoor Pool open Sat, Nov 25 from 8am-10pm for lap swim and then the Rec’s special Winter WonderSwim starting at 10:30am (pre-registration required). [SEE GRAPHIC]
  • Indoor Pool open Sun, Nov 26 from 8am-10:30am for lap swim, 10:30am-12:55pm for open swim and Hydropilates from 1:00-2:00pm.
  • Senior Activity Center Drop in Lounge Open 9:00am – noon
  • Connie Bean Open Gym Sat, Nov 25 from 9am-3pm and Sunday, Nov 26 from 11am-4pm. Wed, Nov 22 the Connie Bean offers Open Gym 12-5 pm
