City Again Earns Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Triple Crown of Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting
October 5, 2022The City of Portsmouth has received Awards of Excellence from the Government Financial Officers Association for the Popular Annual Financial Report (5th year), Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (29th year) and the Budget Presentation. This is the second year in a row that Portsmouth’s Finance Department has won the GFOA Triple Crown for winning all three reporting Excellence Awards and again Portsmouth is the only Triple Crown winner in NH and one of just two in New England (the other was Newport RI).

CITYWIDE NEIGHBORHOOD COMMITTEE HOSTS WARD 3 FORUM – SEPTEMBER 28, 2022
September 27, 2022On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, the Citywide Neighborhood Committee hosts a panel of Portsmouth city officials to discuss projects and issues specific to the Ward 3 neighborhood. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 P.M, in-person at the Senior Activity Center located at 125 Cottage Street in Room 1 (first room on the right). The meeting is open to residents of Ward 3 as well as to the public at large.
The Ward 3 Forum is part of a series of “Neighborhood Outreach Forums” hosted by the Citywide Neighborhood Committee. Additional Ward Forums are being planned.
