February 4, 2022All basketball practices are cancelled for tonight (Fri Feb 4) at the Connie Bean Center, so the building will not be opening.
The Indoor Pool will be closing at 4pm. Evening classes have been cancelled.
Spinnaker will remain open as normal.

February 3, 2022At the end of February we'll be saying goodbye to our fearless leader, Steve Butzel. His energy, dedication, and humor will be sorely missed, and we're so grateful for his tireless steering of the library ship, especially during the pandemic.
Portsmouth DPW Snow Load-out Operations Scheduled for Tues Night February 1
January 31, 2022City of Portsmouth Department of Public Works crews will conduct snow load out operations to clear street and improve safety following the weekend blizzard. The load-out operations start Tuesday, February 1 at 7:30 pm in Area 1, 9:30 pm in Area 2 and 12:30 am in Area 3. The work is expected to be completed by 8 am on Tuesday, February 2.
City of Portsmouth Forms Project Team to Launch Recreational Needs Study

City names Sean Clancy Asst City Mgr for Economic Development
January 27, 2022City Manager Karen Conard is pleased to announce the selection of Sean Clancy as Assistant City Manager for Economic Development, replacing Nancy Carmer who is retiring after 36 years with the City. The transition will start on March 14, 2022, when Mr. Clancy joins the City. Ms. Carmer is set to retire on March 31.
