Public Meeting to Review the Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment on Historic Portsmouth
February 22, 2018On Thursday, February 22nd at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, the Historic District Commission will be hosting a presentation from the Planning Department to share with the community details of work that has been undertaken to assess the potential risks and impacts from sea level rise and/or coastal flooding on the landscapes, buildings, and structures within Portsmouth’s Historic District.

Foundry Place Garage
February 13, 2018The City is currently constructing their second parking garage that will have 600 spaces. A second garage will bring needed support to both residents and visitors, but also brings an opportunity to bring aesthetic and cultural improvements to the North End area of the City.
Hit and Run/DWI Arrest
February 12, 2018On February 9th shortly after 7:00 PM Portsmouth Police were notified of a hit and run accident in the area of Broad Street and Spring Street. Several legally parked vehicles were struck and significant damage was caused. The suspect vehicle fled the scene and was located nearby in the driveway of the registered owner. It too had significant damage as a result of the crashes.
