March 12 2020 Public Information Meeting on Middle Street / Lafayette Road Bicycle Lanes
February 19, 2020The City of Portsmouth Planning and Public Works Departments will host a public information meeting to discuss the bicycle lanes created in Fall 2018 along Middle Street and Lafayette Road (Route 1). The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 12th at 7pm in Council Chambers in City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for members of the public to share comments, concerns, and suggestions for improvement to the pilot project.

February 14, 2020Portsmouth's City Clerk has announced that anyone wishing to make any changes to party affiliation must do so by June 2, 2020 in order for the change to apply to the State Primary Election on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
City Clerk Announces Presidential Primary Turnout Results and Party Affiliation Change Instructions
February 14, 2020Portsmouth, New Hampshire – Kelli Barnaby, City Clerk for the City of Portsmouth announced that 9,168 citizens voted at the five Portsmouth Wards in the Presidential Primary on February 11, representing a 46.4% voter turnout. The City registered 811 new voters in this election. They were among the 457,040 voters statewide casting ballots.

February 10, 2020City of Portsmouth Planning Department to Host Public Meeting on Proposed Zoning Revisions for Foundry Place and Hanover Street Neighborhood
On Thursday March 5th at 7pm in City Council Chambers at City Hall, the City of Portsmouth Planning Department will hold a public meeting for neighborhood residents and property owners to discuss recently proposed zoning amendments that would impact properties along Foundry Place and Hanover Street. The amen
