City Property Tax Rate Set at $14.86
November 12, 2019PORTSMOUTH – The New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration has approved the City’s 2019 tax rate for Fiscal Year 2020 of $14.86 per $1,000 of valuation.
City Manager John Bohenko said the 2019 tax rate dropped by $.98, or 6.2% from the prior year tax rate of $15.84, and $1.35, or 8.3% from the anticipated tax rate of $16.21 at the time the City Council adopted the FY20 annual budget.
