City lifts snow parking ban on SUN Jan 19 at 8am .

The Department of Public Works has lifted the snow emergency parking ban and vehicles may again be parked all city streets, starting at 8 a.m. Residents taking advantage of resident parking at Foundry Place and Hanover garages have two hours (until 10 a.m.) before regular hourly parking hours commence.

HOLIDAY PARADE DEC 7, 2019 STREET CLOSURES & NO PARKING INFORMATION

Effective from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday, December 7th, 2019, the Chief of Police will be invoking his emergency powers, prohibiting parking and vehicular travel on certain streets in the City due to the Annual Portsmouth Holiday Parade. The Parade Route will begin at Plaza 800 on Islington Street (6:00pm) and proceed east to Congress St
