Criminal Threatening Arrest
October 30, 2025Portsmouth Police Arrest David L. Parks on Multiple Charges
On October 29th, the Portsmouth Police Department arrested David L. Parks, age 62, of Portsmouth, N.H. Mr. Parks was charged with two counts of Criminal Threatening, Stalking, and Harassment (all misdemeanors), as well as Falsifying Physical Evidence, a class B Felony.
City RESCHEDULES Halloween Trick or Treat Hours to WED Oct 29
October 27, 2025The City of Portsmouth announced that trick-or-treat will be rescheduled due to the impending storm on Thursday, October 30. The new trick-or-treat hours are 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The Portsmouth Police Department reminds everyone to watch out for trick-or-treaters and the increased traffic on the roads that evening.

City Public Art Review Committee Hosts Dedication of “Spiraling Serenity” Sculpture on November 6, 2025
October 24, 2025The City’s Public Art Review Committee (PARC) is hosting the dedication of its newest public art project on Thursday November 6, 2025 at 3:30 pm. The sculpture, Vito DiBari’s Spiraling Serenity, is located on Peirce Island (near the first parking lot over the bridge). The dedication ceremonies are free and open to the public.
