City of Portsmouth, NH Announces Event Parking Shuttle for Sail Portsmouth 2026 Maritime Festival, July 23-26

Sail Portsmouth welcomes a parade of the Dutch tall ship, the Oosterschelde, and a flotilla of other vessels to Portsmouth on Thursday, July 23 starting at 7:30 pm. The Parade of Sail features an impressive lineup of vessels, including the Oosterschelde, Liberty Clipper, Denis Sullivan, and private pleasure craft and commercial vessels. Private vessel owners are welcome to join the festivities by escorting the tall ships during the Parade of Sail by gathering at the mouth of the Piscataqua that evening. For the full schedule and tickets, visit: sailportsmouth.org. 

Tours –Tours of the Oosterschelde are offered on Friday, July 24, Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26 from 10 am to 5 pm each day at the Portsmouth Commercial Fishing Pier located at 1 Peirce Island Road. Visitors should expect to wait in line to board.  

Parking ADA-accessible public parking is available at the Hanover Garage, Foundry Garage, and the Little Harbour School parking lot. All parking is first come, first served and provided at regular rates.  

Free Shuttle Two shuttles (one ADA-equipped), will operate on a free 15-minute loop between the parking garages, the Little Harbour School lot, and the Fishing Pier, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on July 24 to 26. Please note that there will be a 1-hour period each day when only one shuttle is operating to allow the drivers to take their lunch breaks. At those times there may be a longer wait for service.
