2025 Portsmouth Holiday Parade Grand Marshal

The Tree
Holiday tree is up! On Tuesday, November 18, the city's 2025 holiday tree, a 35-foot blue spruce, arrived in Market Square signaling the annual tree lighting and parade are coming soon.
The 35-foot blue spruce donated by the Fox Family in Rye left for Portsmouth’s Market Square around 9:00 am with assistance from the Town of Rye, Portsmouth DPW Urban Forestry staff, National Wrecker who donated the transport, and Moore’s Crane who donated the crane. It was installed into its wintery location at the corner of Market and Congress Streets, in the shadow of North Church.
