Hampshire Road & Essex Avenue Project

The Essex and Hampshire Area Drainage Repair Project will replace the current failing drainage system. A preliminary public meeting was held on July 9, 2024 on-site but the project is currently on hold.  Representatives from the City of Portsmouth and the project design firm CMA gave a brief project overview, walked the current drainage system as well as the proposed new system and addressed questions and concerns property owners had.  A future public meeting will be held for all residents within the area once a design is finalized.
