Fascinated by Japanese flower arranging? Here is our 2020 Virtual Ikebana Exhibit by the Kittery Point Ikenobo Chapter! This specialonline exhibit is presented in both slideshow and booklet form.

Ikebana is a way to express one’s feelings with each individual flower. Many different Ikebana styles have appeared during the 550 years of Ikebana history. They each have a distinctive character and are arranged with a particular form or pattern in mind. However, awareness of natural beauty allows the arranger to gradually approach the ideal beauty which Ikebana seeks.

The Kittery Point Ikenobo Chapter is sponsoring this event and welcomes you to its celebration of this centuries-old floral art form. The Kittery Point Chapter is affiliated with the Ikenobo Headquarters in Kyoto, Japan.
