Notary Services

The Portsmouth Public Library offers a free notary service during these drop-in hours:

Mondays: 6-8pm

Wednesdays: 2-4pm

First come, first served. Located at the 2nd floor Reference desk.

What you will need to bring:

• Printed, completed documents.
  • Make sure the documents are not signed nor dated.
  • Need help printing? You can do it at the library! Print from home here.
• A valid form of identification:
  • Passport
  • Driver's license
  • Non-driver's license
  • Other government issued I.D
• All signers of the document must be present during the notarization.
  • If your document requires a witness, please bring one with you. Solicitation for witnesses is not permitted in the library.
