This series includes four 90-minute online workshops on mindfulness. Each workshop will include a short talk, an opportunity to practice together, and discussion. Come to one or all four! No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome!

July 20: Uncertainty and Fear: Allowing our feelings in: the good, the bad and the ugly

In this workshop, you will learn a simple technique for including emotions in your mindfulness practice. Learning to relate skillfully with your emotions, especially the difficult ones can help you navigate uncertainty and cultivate self-care. 

Liz Korabek-Emerson is a certified mindfulness teacher, transformational workshop leader and creative coach dedicated to helping people become more resilient in their workplaces, homes and communities. Korabek-Emerson has designed mindfulness programs for individuals and organizations, including the Portsmouth Hospital, Beacon Hospice, Liberty Mutual and the Riverwoods Retirement Community. She leads weekly drop-in groups at the Portsmouth Hospital and Gateway Taiji Studio, and has been a volunteer facilitator for the library’s Weekly Meditation program.
