June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month.

Presented by the library’s Special Collections staff and members of the Ranger Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), these events are free, open to the public, and appropriate for all levels of interest and experience. All levels will learn something new! 

If you were planning a house in 1700, you would not consider building clothes closets or kitchen cabinets, yet it’s nearly impossible to find a mid-20th century house without these features.

Sage Clarke is back to offer free weekly yoga classes on Tuesday evenings from June 18 to September 3! Join Sage from 6:30-7:30 PM for an hour of outdoor, all-levels yoga in the library garden.

Arr! Adventure Begins at the Portsmouth Public Library during our Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Party on Monday, June 17. The field behind the library will be full of fun and games from 6 - 8 PM including an inflatable obstacle course, popcorn, face painting, big bubbles and more! There may even be a visit from a pirate!
