Literature in Bloom 2026

Lit in Bloom Poster

Visit the library between the afternoon of May 20 and the morning of May 22 for a spectacular floral display in our lobby, inspired by book covers! Portsmouth Garden Club members have each chosen a book cover from the library’s collection and created an interpretive floral arrangement. This exhibit is FREE and open to all.

The Portsmouth Garden Club was founded in 1931. Its mission is to promote all phases of gardening, to practice and encourage the conservation of our natural resources, to foster educational goals and to initiate projects which provide cooperative efforts to increase and protect the beauty and history of the Portsmouth area. Find them online at portsmouthnhgardenclub.com.
