    • First Three Hours: $2.00 per hour
    • Hour Four and Beyond: $5.00 per hour
  • 15-Minute Metered Parking (D-Red Zone)
    • $2.00 per hour
    • Max Stay 15 min.

Garage Rates & Monthly Passes

  • Hanover Parking Garage
    • $2.00 per hour
    • Max Daily or Lost Ticket Rate: $40
    • $5 All day parking on Sundays for Portsmouth Residents: Must show ID.
  • Monthly Passes at Hanover Parking Garage
    • Residents: $200
    • Non-Residents: $300
  • Foundry Place Garage
    • $1.00 per hour
    • Max Daily or Lost Ticket Rate: $20
    • All day free parking on Sunday for Portsmouth Residents: Must show ID.
  • Monthly Passes at Foundry Place
    • Residents: $100
    • Non-Residents: $200

Pay By Plate

The City's existing Multi-space meters (blue kiosks) received a software upgrade (at no cost to the city) that allows residents and visitors to pay for parking using their license plate number, eliminating the need to walk back to your car to place a ticket on your dash.
