Foundry Place Garage Program

The City of Portsmouth offers a Downtown Workforce Parking Program available year-round!

Qualified employees can park in the Foundry Place Garage for only $3 per each 10-hour session.

To benefit, an employee of a Downtown Portsmouth business must:

  • show a photo ID
  • current proof of paycheck issued by a downtown business
  • submit the application form in person at the Foundry Parking Garage office.

Each employee is eligible to buy up to 20 parking stickers per month.

Additionally, the Foundry Place Garage offers covered parking and clean, heated public restrooms on site.

For more information, call 603-766-2630 or visit the Foundry Garage Attendant Office at 100 Foundry Place.

Parrott Avenue Pilot Program

As a part of the new Resident Access Parking Pilot Program (RAPP), the City now offers downtown workers a discounted rate on Parrot Avenue.

The discounted price is 30 cents per hour along with the 35-cent initial session fee.

The difference between the Parrott Ave and the Foundry Garage programs is that employees at Parrott ave will only pay for hourly rate and hours used, rather than pre-paying for stickers at Foundry Garage.

Parking on Parrott Ave will still be first come, first serve. You can still participate in both Workforce programs.

You have to requalify every 90 days showing proof of hourly employment.
