Stormwater Control Measure Inspection & Maintenance Reporting

The City of Portsmouth Department of Public Works has implemented this application for the submission of annual Stormwater Control Measure (SCM) Inspection and Maintenance Reports. 

Please note, there is no fee associated with this application.

The Inspection & Maintenance (I&M) report for properties must be submitted through this portal no later than January 30th of each year.

This reporting is required as a condition of your approved Site Plan and the City’s Stormwater Management Regulations pursuant to the City’s Site Plan Review Regulations Section 7.6.5, which states:

“The applicant shall develop and execute an enforceable inspection and maintenance plan for both erosion control measures and permanent stormwater treatment measures to maintain their effectiveness for the duration of their useful life.”

This is additionally referenced in the Site Plan Review approval letter, which states that a stormwater inspection and maintenance report shall be completed annually, and copies shall be submitted for review to the City’s Stormwater Division/Public Works Department.
