Portsmouth Police Arrest David L. Parks on Multiple Charges

On October 29th, the Portsmouth Police Department arrested David L. Parks, age 62, of Portsmouth, N.H.  Mr. Parks was charged with two counts of Criminal Threatening, Stalking, and Harassment (all misdemeanors), as well as Falsifying Physical Evidence, a class B Felony. 

Earlier this month, the Portsmouth Police Department received a report from an individual who stated they had been receiving threatening messages through a social media platform.  The individual expressed concern for their safety and the safety of their family. Following an investigation, Mr. Parks was arrested on the charges listed above.  

The investigation and search warrant were conducted by the Investigative Division, Crime Scene Team, and Digital Forensics Team, with assistance from the Patrol Division.    

Mr. Parks is being held on preventive detention and is scheduled to be arraigned on October 30th, 2025, at 1100 AM at the Portsmouth District Court.  Please note that charges are not evidence of guilt.  All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
