Membership Info

New for June 2026

The Portsmouth City Council voted on June 8 to increase the nonresident membership fees at the Spinnaker Point Fitness Center.  The new rates will take effect beginning August 1, 2026.  These new rates are as follows:

  • Adults 18-59 years old: $575 for full year; $50 monthly 
  • Seniors 60 and over: $300 for full year; $35 monthly

Current monthly members will automatically be billed at the new rate starting on August 1.  Yearly members will remain until your expiration date.  At that time, if you choose to renew your membership, you will be purchasing a year at the new rate. 

Please also note, the nonresident memberships have surpassed the required cap.  We will not be adding any new nonresident memberships until we go below the cap.  If you choose to keep your current membership, you will not be affected until you cancel or choose not to renew.

Any current member who wishes to cancel their monthly membership will need to do so prior to August 1 to avoid the new monthly charge. Cancellations must be requested via the Membership Cancellation Form. The pdf for the Cancellation Form can be found at the bottom of this page.

Membership Policies

  • Memberships are available for Portsmouth residents and non Portsmouth residents. You must have a valid drivers license or State ID for proof of residency.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older and out of high school to use the facility.
  • All members and guests must use the parking lot adjacent to the building.  Please observe all posted rules inside and outside of the building.

2026 – Membership Fees

Yearly memberships are good for one year from date of purchase and can be purchased via cash, check or credit card. Monthly memberships begin on the date of purchase and are automatically charged monthly via credit card on renewal date until cancelled via cancellation form.

Daily & Class Fees

  • Daily fee may be purchased for $5 for Portsmouth residents and $10 for nonresidents.
  • Most classes require an additional fee but offer discounts for members.
  • Nonresidents may sign up for classes.
  • Gift certificates are available to purchase.
  • All sport leagues and programs require a registration fee.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your membership you may do so by filling out the Cancellation Form. Cancellations cannot be taken over the phone.

PLEASE NOTE: Cancellation forms must be received at least 15 days prior to the member's recurring payment date.
