Kanopy is a video-streaming platform dedicated to thoughtful and thought-provoking films. Kanopy provides access to 30,000+ films, available to stream anytime and anywhere — from desktop to smart TV to tablet.
Kanopy has an app for iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire.
How to Watch
Tickets are used to play videos on Kanopy. Each film will use between zero and five tickets, depending on the studio and length of the film. The number of tickets required will be on each film’s information page.
Users are provided with 12 tickets each month, which will reset at midnight on the first day of each calendar month. Unused play credits will not roll over into the next month. You can see how many credits you have remaining on the top right corner of your screen.

Signing up
Make sure to sign up via our link from a web browser first by scrolling down and clicking on "log in to cityofportsmouth", and after creating an account you will then be able to log in to the app.
