The City Council voted on June 6, 2022 to establish the Blue Ribbon Committee COVID-Response Task Force (BRC CRTF) for a duration of six months to evaluate challenges and identify low-cost, high-impact, recovery solutions that might be addressed with City ARPA monies. The BRC-CRTF supports the City Council’s goal “to build a strong, resilient and equitable recovery by making investments that support long-term growth and opportunity.”

The new committee is composed of citizens of Portsmouth, local non-profit representatives and the City Manager as an ex-officio member to incorporate city staff and resources, as needed. The BRC-CRTF will be soliciting input from residents via public meetings in various locations and times throughout the city.
